Select Energy Systems Slickline business unit has trucks equipped with a wide selection of downhole gauges, surface recorders and rental tools including plugs, gauge carriers, collar stops, hold-down tools, etc. In addition, a remote data acquisition All Terrain Vehicle (ATV), and one heli-portable Slickline unit are available allowing Select Energy Systems Slickline business unit to meet our clients’ Slickline and data acquisition requirements in remote locations.

Operations currently undertaken by the Select Slickline business unit include bottomhole (pressure gradients, temperature gradients, flowing gradients, build-ups, flow and build-ups, interference testing) and surface (build-ups, flow and build-ups, prover flow testing and pre-frac testing, pressure, isolation and casing vent testing) memory data acquisition, using bottom-hole memory recorders and surface loggers. Other operations include tagging fill, locating tubing end and running sample bailers. All data acquired is plotted, reported and submitted to the Alberta Energy and Utility Board (AEUB), as required by our clients.
