One end of the Snake Pin Assembly is tapered, and the other end is connected to the coiled tubing with a swivel joint, and a flexible cable. Larger sizes incorporate a knuckle joint to reduce stress when the snake pin assembly passes over the gooseneck on the top of the injector.
